| January 25th (Sunday), the snow got off in Florence. It is said that it was after as many as 11 years that snow has falen and the town was visible white. We would like to look at the duomo which wears the snow! so we went out to the Piazza del Michelangelo in the afternoon. It was visible in only the extent which remains faintly white on the roof of several houses. With the photograph of the newspaper of the next day, even the snow accumulated white on the roof of the duomo. According to the newspaper, the time when the snow fell was about 1 hour half. |
