Good-by, Lira!

In Italy we can pay in either currency "Lire" or "Euro" only until the end of February. We started to use "Euro" from January and I don't see a man who pays in Lire. And a salesclerk doesn't ask "Pay in lire or euro?". Lire is used for a long time fades away and I think Italian especially old men feel sorrowful. Finally I got used to pay in lire, but have trouble paying in euro.

After March the national bank(Banca d'Italia) will accept lire.(until January 1, 2012)
